Learn More About Cellular Healing

By Essie Osborn

The body has great potential for regeneration. Healers from all over the world are discovering just how important it is to understand this. So much of what affects our bodies is related to more than just the physical. Traumatic experiences that affect our emotions, for example, can cause damage to the cells in our body and result in illness and disease. This is why understanding more about cellular healing is important.

It appears that blockages are created in cells by traumatic memories. The biochemistry of stress, whether due to large traumas, difficult life circumstances or other factors, blocks many of the normal healthy functions of cells. When emotions are repressed, certain chemicals are released into the bloodstream and go to cell receptors, blocking them and affecting their communication with the rest of the cells. The memories stored inside a degenerative cell are transmitted to the next generation of cells before it dies. This would explain why someone with liver cancer would still be suffering from cancer even once the cells were all regenerated.

Cells retain the information from your birth to the present day. Any emotional trauma like rejection or abuse or even ongoing stress on a daily basis can damage cells to the extent that illness results. This can happen within a specific organ or a more systemic illness may be experienced throughout the whole body.

There are no quick answers when it comes to healing. Some people do experience miraculous recoveries but in most cases the body needs time to heal. Some cells take longer than others to perform certain functions, including regeneration. For example, the cells of the eye regenerated much faster than those of the liver.

Most health practitioners today are aware that human beings are made up of far more than just their bodies. This is why addressing only physical symptoms and not addressing root causes of these symptoms can never create wholeness. Mental and emotional damage is just as relevant as physical damage, if not more so.

Numerous health practitioners are now offering these services. They help clients on their journey to discovering the root causes of their health problems and assist them in the self healing process. Their approaches and tools they use vary considerably. It is important to find a practitioner who has some experience and preferably one who has testimonials from many satisfied clients.

Sessions usually last about an hour and the number required varies, according to the problems experienced by the client. The reaction to therapy varies too, with some individuals feeling energetic whilst others may feel sleepy. Some people experience fairly quick results and others need to attend a number of sessions before they report significant results.

The idea of these sessions is to access the negative memories and deal with them, making way for positive empowering emotions. Practitioners help their clients to do this. They are helped to make contact with the abundant flow of universal energy.
