Health Improving Herbal Lung Function Supplements

Our respiratory system is continuously at work. Every day, through out the day, it is the conduit through which oxygen gets into our bodies. However, it is also the channel via which toxins, harmful organisms, fungus, mold, dust, irritants and pollutants enter into our bodies systems. From the Rock Mountains comes an herb native known as Osha root. Indigenous Americans have exploited the root for centuries in their quest to support respiration. Peppermint gives peppermint oils and menthol which is a famous soothing medicine. It eases the muscles that run the respiratory tract and stimulates free breathing. Menthol is again, a great decongestant. Inhalants and balms for the chest made up with menthol extracts breaks up congestion. Peppermint is also an antioxidant that helps in the fight against harmful organisms.

Peppermint has menthol which is soothing agent that relaxes the smooth muscles running the respiratory tract as well as enhancing free breathing. Menthol is also a superb decongestant. Chest balms and inhalants containing menthol assist in breaking up congestion. Peppermint, being an antioxidant, assists the body to fight harmful organisms.All these herbs come in various forms such as nutritional supplements and tea blends. People also grow them on gardens and eat them as food or juice extracts.
