You can go for ball sports. There are a number of ball sports that should be a good option for you to have these days. A perfect example of that would be Oakville volleyball. This is technically a ball game where every player will have to connect every attack and not let the ball touch the ground on your court.

If you are interested in participating in this sport, then you must be familiar of what the rules as well as the positions for it. In terms of team positions, you have a variety of them that you will have to remember. These positions help you get a decent team and a stronger one at that. Here are the general positions to remember.

Outside hitter. You need an outside hitter to do the attacks for the team. The position requires the players to hit from their own strong corner. For the ones who are right-handed, then they have stronger corners at the court's front left. When they are left-handed players, then their corner is at their front right.

You can also be a middle blocker in the said sport. Usually, the ones who are given the position of middle blocker are those who have height as their weapon. The tallest members are given this task since they are the ones given the responsibility to block off their opponent's hits. Double blocks and even triple blocks are common in the game.

Setters are also important to the team. This particular position is the one position that allows player to set up plays to make a point. It is basically a position meant for a play maker. The setter will be the ones assisting spikers when it comes to making attacks and hitting the ball over the net to gain the team points.

There is also a position for spikers. This is a position that is necessary for the said sports. After all, this is a position meant for attacking. In the attack, they will be required to hit the ball so that it goes over the net, through their opponent's block, and on the other side's court. It will be better to hit the ball harder over the net then.

Another important position will be for the libero. The libero is a position given to the players who are the best at receives. With the libero, they can connect their team's attack to another. They are the players who will be preventing the ball from hitting their home court. Liberos are usually, but not necessarily, the ones with short height.

Pinch server. It is a position given to those who are good at receives. The ones who are experts at getting service aces are usually the members who are given the chance to become a pinch server. Serves can also be a form of attack. If a serve does not get received properly at the other part of the court, the team can score a point.
